The Manhattan, Kansas Fire Department is a career fire/emergency medical service serving the city since 1892. The Manhattan Fire Department provides a wide range of services to Manhattan residents. Programs administered by the department are divided into two categories — Emergency Services and Technical Services.

Take a Tour
Tours of the Headquarters Fire Station are available year-round. They include a tour of the station, viewing the fire trucks and demonstrations of modern firefighting equipment. Frankie the Firefighter may appear if prior arrangements have been made. Fire safety videos, presentations and activities are available for various age groups.
