Transportation Projects

  1. 11th & Poyntz Intersection

    The intersection of 11th Street and Poyntz Avenue is scheduled to receive new traffic signals as part of a KDOT grant.

  2. 2017 Street Maintenance Program

    The 2017 Street Maintenance Program will repair concrete and asphalt streets in various parts of Manhattan.

  3. College & Claflin Intersection Improvements

    A safety grant will fund most of the improvements necessary at the intersection of College Avenue and Claflin Road.

  4. Diverging Diamond at K-18/K-113

    The Kansas Department of Transportation has provided grant funding for the construction of a diverging diamond interchange at the intersection of K-18 and K-113 in Manhattan.

  5. Juliette Avenue Brick Rehabilitation

    The Juliette Avenue brick rehabilitation projects are grant-funded to maintain the historic nature of the brick and repair the street.

  6. K-113 Corridor Study

    The Kansas Department of Transportation and the City of Manhattan are conducting a corridor study for K-113 (Seth Child Road)

  7. Knox Lane Multi-Use Trail

    The Knox Lane multi-use trail is funded by a transportation alternative grant and will help connect parts of northeast of Manhattan.

  8. Safe Routes to School, Phase 2

    The second phase of the Safe Routes to School plan involves building infrastructure to implement the plans from phase one.

  9. West Anderson

    The West Anderson project involves the construction of a roundabout and related pavement and pedestrian improvements at the intersection of Kimball/Scenic/Anderson on the west side of Manhattan.
