  5. Sushi Class

    January 29, 2017, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Union Pacific Train Depot

Don’t let the sushi chef have all the fun! Sign up as a couple, with a friend or by yourself and come learn the spreading, layering, tucking and rolling tricks of the trade. There is no wrong way of making sushi, but you have to make it fun and enjoyable. In this fun, hands-on social cooking class, you will learn all the skills needed to make Veggie and California sushi rolls, including how to make sushi rice (premade for class) and how to select sushi-grade filling. No raw fish will be used in this class, just carrot, avocado, cucumber, imitation crab stick and nori (seaweed). We provide all the equipment and ingredients. This event will be casual — for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step to the spouse/friend who’d rather assist (and taste) — and meant to be fun and instructive, not difficult. After the event, you will bring home the food you made and a recipe with detailed procedures. Register online for this class.
