Creepy World of Sunset Zoo in the new Nature Exploration Center.
Special Admission Rates
- $5 per trick-or-treating child, two adults admitted free with each paid child's admission
- Children 2 & under (that are not trick-or-treating) admitted free
- FOSZ members receive $1 off each child's admission
- Regular admission of $4/adult applies to any additional adults & non trick-or-treating guests
Helpful Tips for a SPOOKtacularly Good Time
- Wear your costumes - adults & kids - have fun & be creative, just remember you're walking through the Zoo.
- Bring your candy bags to collect your candy loot.
- Parking is available in the Zoo's main lot & the grass fields that surround the Zoo's entry. We'll have folks directing traffic - be patient & drive slowly.
- Purchase your tickets in advance to avoid long lines! Tickets can be purchased in person at the Zoo's ticket booth seven days a week from 9:30am to 5:00pm or by calling 785.587.APES.

Saturday, October 20, Noon - 4:30pm
- ALL DAY: five candy trails filled with candy stations for the kids including a NEW "trunk-or-treat" trail!
- ALL DAY: Creepy World of Sunset Zoo in the new Nature Exploration Center featuring live animal encounters with the Zoo's education animal & visitors from KSU Insect Zoo
- NOON - 1:30PM - KSU's Tap Dance Ensemble's "Tappy Halloween" Performance near Pavilion
- 1pm - Manhattan High School Choirs, Chautauqua
- 2pm - KSU Pep Band Performance, Chautauqua
- ALL DAY: Vote for your favorite hand-carved jack-o-lantern by KSU's College of Architecture, Planning & Design students in the Pavilion
