Sunset Zoo is an entity of the City of Manhattan, and supported by two 501c3 non-profits: the Friends of Sunset Zoo and the Sunset Zoological Park & Wildlife Conservation Trust.  As a not-for-profit, Sunset Zoo relies on people like you to achieve its goals in conservation and education. 

Honor a Passion for Animals & the Outdoors
Looking for a way to support the Zoo or remember a loved one? Sunset Zoo offers you the opportunity to honor your loved ones and support the Zoo in a variety of ways including: bench seating, landscape improvements, animal enclosure renovations, and more. Supporters are recognized through plaques that can be dedicated to loved ones both past and present.

Sunset Zoo continues to remember some of its most beloved residents through the creation of memorial campaigns. Currently, the Brownie Memorial Campaign and the Mac Memorial Fund recognize two of Sunset Zoo's long time residents: Mac the Chimpanzee and Brownie Bear.  Donating in memory of some of your favorite zoo residents is a unique way to support conservation at Sunset Zoo.
