Lee Mill Village Request for Proposals

The City of Manhattan is seeking proposals from from qualified Kansas-licensed real estate brokers/firms to assist in the marketing strategy and sale of 16 undeveloped lots within the Lee Mill Village subdivision currently owned by the City. Lee Mill Village is a residential development area located in the southwest portion of Manhattan, Kansas. The area is zoned for single family, duplex, or townhome use within the city limits of Manhattan. Utilities, including water and sewer, are in place for each site. 

The responsibilities of the selected Firm will include, but not be limited to, providing professional real estate services, advice, and technical assistance for marketing and sale of City owned property.  

It is the intent of this Request for Proposals (RFP) to have the successful Firm enter into a professional services agreement with the City to provide real estate services.

  • October 6, 2021             Advertisement of the RFP 
  • October 21, 2021           Questions related to RFP due to City Staff by 5:00 pm
  • October 26, 2021           Responses to questions posted on City website 
  • November 8, 2021        Proposals due from Firms by 5:00 pm
  • November 15, 2021         City Administration authorize Professional Services Agreement                  

Manhattan Business Park

The Manhattan Business Park is a 190-acre state-of-the-art development located next to Manhattan Regional Airport. The Business Park offers businesses immediate access to four-lane highways via K-18 and is located just minutes from I-70.

Available Business Park land is owned by the City of Manhattan. All major utility and street infrastructure is in place to serve your business.
