Workforce Housing Steering Committee

Background

One of the recommendations in the Housing Market Analysis (HMA) was the formation of a Workforce Housing Steering Committee (WHSC) with a specific charge to create a framework and policy for reviewing allocation options for the 10% of the Economic Recovery & Relief sales tax funds dedicated to paying for workforce housing initiatives.

The WHSC will help create a method for monitoring and reporting on the implementation and measurement of approved recommendations to the City Commission. The framework and policy will be presented as recommendations to the City Commission for adoption.

The WHSC will meet quarterly and serve for three years (2023–2025) to complete this charge.
