May 2nd, 2018, Manhattan, KS – Tickets to the 12th annual Wine in the Wild presented on Saturday, June 2, 2018 are now on sale. This popular after-hours event benefits Manhattan’s Sunset Zoo and is hosted by Friends of Sunset Zoo. The exclusive VIP Reception kicks off the evening at 5:30pm with premium wine and excellent food selections inside the Zoo’s Nature Exploration Center. General Admission begins at 7pm as wine and food stations open throughout the Zoo near the South America, Kansas and Australia trails, while live music from the Santiago Brothers entertains guests in Chautauqua Amphitheatre.
“The Friends of the Sunset Zoo look forward to a beautiful summer evening in the Flint Hills partnering with the Manhattan community to support our local zoo and provide a great night out to our guests,” said Matt Guelker, Friends of Sunset Zoo President.
Wine in the Wild tickets are now on sale at SunsetZoo.com/Wine or at the Zoo’s ticket booth. VIP tickets are $80 in advance, $100 day of (if available); ticket includes a 12.75 oz. commemorative wine glass and access to the General Admission event. General Admission tickets are $50 in advance, $60 day of (if available); ticket includes an 8 oz. commemorative wine glass. Tickets are limited and the event does sell out. Wine in the Wild is held rain or shine and supports Sunset Zoo’s mission to inspire conservation of the natural world.
