Repairs to the sewer system have been completed. The City cleared the mud and debris from the pipes and the contractor is now starting to restore the site. Once final grading is completed, work can begin on the pavement. City staff are meeting today to discuss options and pavement repair could begin as early as next week.

The roadway could reopen as early as 2-3 weeks from now, weather permitting.

New pipe and manholes are now on site. The de-watering wells have been installed to make the area safe for digging. Additional infrastrcture repairs are necessary under the roadway. The goal is to have the new sewer mains installed before Thanksgiving.

After the sewer repairs are completed, asphalt repair will begin. Depending on conditions, the project could be finished and the roadway reopened in 60 days.
