The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has published their Invitation to Bid for the Manhattan Levee Flood Risk Management Project. Questions regarding the project should be directed to USACE.
Interested parties must register with the SAM website and follow the instructions there for obtaining specifications and plans. Available information at that location will also soon include a sign-in list and information video from the site visit for Contractors held July 7th.
The City of Manhattan is the owner of the levee system and is the local sponsor for this project. As such, we are encouraging local companies that may have interest in supplying vendor, material or subcontractor services to consider participation. It would be each companies responsibility to seek out potential Bidders for teaming options. The City of Manhattan has no direct involvement in the solicitation processes and cannot provide any assistance beyond the sharing of this notice.
