Limited Use (Residential District) Application

  7. Have you obtained all other required state and local licenses?
  8. Is the principal use of the home an owner-occupied residence?

  9. Will any and all employees be residents of the home?

    They are required to be.

  10. Does the property abut any residential uses (homes, apartments, etc.)?
  11. Is the property screened from abutting residential uses with a six-foot tall fence or Type-B Bufferyard?
  12. Will you have any signage for the Bed and Breakfast?
  13. Note that signage is limited to a single, non-illuminated placard or nameplate with a maximum size of 12 square feet that is affixed to the home or hung from a roof overhang or porch so that the sign is parallel to the home façade. Will your signage fall within these parameters?

  24. Please acknowledge that the club will comply with noise regulations in Chapter 22 of the Code of Ordinances.
  25. The club must be screened from all abutting residential property with a Type-A bufferyard. Please upload a site plan showing all landscaping, fencing, and screening to verify this requirement is satisfied.


  26. Is there any parking located on a remote lot not contiguous with that of the main use?
  27. Are there any residential uses (homes, apartments, etc.) abutting this/these lots?

  29. Is the property where the center is located is owned by a 501(C)(3) corporation?

  30. Crisis Centers must be registered with the City of Manhattan. This application along with the limited use permit issued to you will serve as the registration. Please acknowledge that all information is submitted correctly and that you will keep a copy for your records.
