Enjoy a tasty pint of beer while listening to some of the best and brightest from K-State at Profs n’ Pints! This new monthly gathering pairs up innovative research with some amazing microbrews. Every month features a K-State faculty member sharing what they love in a fun and lively presentation, along with a featured microbrew from Arrow Catering. This is a FREE event, held at the Flint Hills Discovery Center the fourth Tuesday of each month, January through April, from 6:30-7:30 PM. Cash bar available for ages 21+.

The governing and legislative body of the city is the City Commission, comprised of five commissioners who are elected at-large on a non-partisan basis. The commission determines all matters of policy and approves all city ordinances and resolutions, as well as adopts the annual city budget.
