The Manhattan Area Recovery Task Force will meet on Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. This meeting will be held via video conference with the Co-Chairs and the 24 members of the Manhattan Area Recovery Task Force participating remotely. The Recovery Task Force is charged to help the Manhattan Area move forward under the Governor’s Reopening Plan by “developing a measured and phased path forward for our community” related to the COVID pandemic.
The agenda for the Recovery Task Force meeting will include the latest information on the health department orders and information from Riley, Geary and Pottawatomie Counties, an update on SPARK / CARES funding being utilized locally for COVID response, with a bulk of the meeting time dedicated to talking about Economic Recovery ideas given some of the latest economic news in the community. Live public comment during the meeting will not be permitted.
